If the Al Carrell How-to House runs true to form, the kitchen will be the room in which the family will spend the most time.
That’s why again this year, Don’s TV & Appliance was selected by builder Jason Vander Vorste to create the kitchen.
Starting with the cooktop, Don’s selected Kitchen Aid natural gas cooktop.
This unit features burners that make cleaning and maintenance much easier than with conventional ranges. And the unit features Kitchen
Aid’s Ultra Low Simmer - a feature that can allows you such precise heat control that you can melt butter that is sitting on a paper
plate.
The oven is from Kitchen Aid as well. Among its many features are extra-large
capacity, easy-to-read oven controls and easy glide oven racks. This oven is a chef’s dream with true convection cooking.
The microwave is Kitchen Aid’s built-in convection/microwave. It offers
high-wattage power for fast cooking, a continuous turn turntable and digital controls.
The dishwasher (2) is
Kitchen Aid’s “Superba”. Its super-quiet design includes a stainless steel interior and nylon-coated adjustable
“easy glide” racks for superior rust resistance.
Rounding out the kitchen is the Kitchen Aid side-by-side refrigerator. This
custom style, counter-depth gives it a built-in look and doesn’t protrude into the kitchen like a conventional refrigerator.
