PLUMBING FIXTURES

Again this year, the Al Carrell How to House features plumbing and plumbing fixtures from Coburn Supply Co. of Tyler. As they have in previous editions of the How-to House, they have provided fixtures that not only look beautiful, but provide generations of reliable service.

For this edition of the How-to House, MTI provides an Interlue I air bath. The air bath provides heated air jets that relax and soothe. They are easier to maintain than a traditional whirlpool and the allow the use of oils and other bath products.

In the laundry room, the Jentle Jet laundry sink from MTI is great for delicates and hand washables.

In the master bath, American Standard provides an exciting shower system featuring the Enfield faucet series. These stylish faucets offer luxury and practicality. In the shower, there are four massage spray jets, an invigorating showerhead and hand shower. In the air bath, the addition of the personal shower makes cleaning the tub a snap. The Enfield series is a classic design with clean lines that compliment many baths.

The G-Max Flushing Systems by TOTO bring maximum efficiency to that very necessary part of the plumbing system: the toilets. The G-Max toilets were one of the first 1.6 gallon-per-flush toilets introduced in the U.S. These units not only outperform other low-flush models, they outperform toilets that use twice as much water. The G-Max's wider flush valve produces maximum pulling power for a one-time flush with a minimum impact on the environment.

In the powder room, American Standard provides a cabinet from the Brook collection. The classic lines and the Cognac finish are a beautiful combination.

The kitchen showcases two very dramatic faucets (2) that offer style and function. The faucets are from the Culinaire family and offer a stainless finish.

The kitchen in this edition of the How-to House features two sinks from Elkay. The main sink is an offset, brushed stainless design that maximizes bowl space with still fitting in a standard kitchen sink cavity. The larger bowl is ten inches deep and the smaller bowl is eight inches deep. This layout is ideal for accommodating cookie sheets and casserole dishes. A round, hammered stainless sink sits in the island.

Also in the kitchen you find a three quarter- horsepower disposer and a hot water dispenser that provides instant 190-degree filtered water. Both of these amenities are from Insinkerator.

Coburn’s is the perennial selection for plumbing and plumbing fixtures in Al Carrell How-to Houses because of their expertise, their selection and the fine manufacturers they represent.
