Again this year, the Al Carrell How-to House is completed on the outside by a sensational landscape. The task for the family that ends up living in the How-to House will be to keep that landscape looking beautiful.
And to help with that job, builder Jason Vander Vorste has installed a state-of-the-art Hunter lawn irrigation system from American Waterboys, Inc. There is no better system on the market than a Hunter system.
The system is anchored by Hunter PGP rotors in the large lawn areas. The Hunter PGP provides uniform coverage while conserving water and minimizing waste. The system helps assure water penetration to the root zone.
In the small lawn areas, American Waterboys has installed Hunter ROS Series 4”pop-up spray heads. The ROS series has set the industry standard for over 20 years.
In the bed areas, they have installed a combination of copper risers and Hunter ROS Series 12” pop-ups to provide the plants the irrigation necessary for healthy growth.
Controlling the system is the Hunter Pro C with multi-program capability and Hunter’s remote control that allows the homeowner to operate the system from anywhere on the property.
The system is equipped with an auto-rain shutdown function using Hunter’s Rain Check Sensor.
The entire system is installed and backed by American Waterboys, Inc. and Joe and Patti McElligot. Since 1983, American Waterboys has set the standard in lawn irrigation. The City of Tyler trusted American Waterboys with the Tyler Rose Garden.
American Waterboys, Inc. is a licensed irrigator, licensed installer and licensed backflow installer/tester. They are fully bonded and insured and Maxi-Com certified.
